Join us for a field trip at two Food Scrap Drop-Off sites in the Bronx! Once vacant lots, these sites have become pillars in the South Bronx community. We'll learn the history of each site and how they process food scraps into compost in order to grow food for their community. Meet us at Padre Plaza Community Garden for a tour of the garden and compost area. Then, we'll take a 5 minute walk to Brook Park Community Garden.
