Help maintain the Home Gardening Center's Compost Demonstration area at the New York Botanical Garden! Volunteers will aerate the pile, sift finished compost, spread mulch, and apply linseed oil to the three-bin structure. Volunteers may also have the opportunity to harvest vermicompost. Please bring a water bottle and wear shoes/clothes you are comfortable getting dirty.

Access notes: there is a bathroom available on-site; there are no steps and paths in the garden are paved. Please contact compost@nybg.org with any accessibility questions
