Take an insider’s tour of the small-scale compost systems used by New Settlement Community Center's Community Food Action program. We'll start at the community center where we'll get a tour of their rooftop garden, discuss their food scrap drop-off program and see how the youth interns turn food waste into compost. Then, we'll take a 3 minute walk to PS.294 where they will show us another compost processing system. Learn about their work to promote food justice and community leadership.
